While there are a few effective ingredients in Internal Flush, they have also included some with no discernible colon cleansing benefits and others that have dangerous side effects. Internal Flush ingredients are:

• Flaxseed powder - a fiber-based laxative.
• Cascara Sagrada - a very harsh colon cleanser that the U.S. has banned in over-the-counter drugs.
• Rhubarb Root - another laxative.
• Ginger Root - can settle the stomach, but once in the intestine it has no effect.
• Fennel Seed - has some effect in aiding digestion, but will not cleanse the colon.
• Marshmallow Root - this one doesn't even get past the mouth. Once inside the body, it does absolutely nothing.
• Slipper Elm Bark - absorbs toxins in the colon walls, but combined with the other ingredients of Internal Flush, it is not as effective.
• Raspberry Leaves - cause the intestine to constrict, but this only further hampers colon cleansing.

Internal Flush Side Effects

The makers of Internal Flush used several ingredients that are ineffective and some that are simply laxatives. Laxative use for weight loss is dangerous and true colon cleansing products do not work this way. The inclusion of an ingredient banned in medications is also disconcerting. Other Internal Flush side effects are:

• Vomiting - may occur with Cascara Sagrada intake.
• Diarrhea - from all the unnecessary laxatives.
• Intestinal Bleeding and bloody stool - another result of the overly harsh Cascara Sagrada.
• Bloating - both uncomfortable and harmful.
• Gas - one of the most dreaded of side effects.
• Nausea - many users report dizziness.

At the time of this writing, the official Internal Flush website was no longer working and other reviewers have corroborated that they are not online and Internal Flush is now only being sold through secondary websites. This hurts consumers because they are at the mercy of these distributors known for poor customer service. The only guarantee that Internal Flush has is 30-days, money-back. This would be acceptable if not for the fact that the package must be unopened or no refund. Internal Flush sells for around $50, which is completely lost on opening. They don't give customers a chance to try it for a reason.

Does Internal Flush Work?

Internal Flush has a couple of acceptable ingredients, but too many ineffective ones for the product to be useful. The side effects are also too numerous for our recommendation. Not having its own website is also a severe detriment in our customer service rankings.
